Use of Social Media for Planing our Filming ~ Alice Nutter
We used blogger to look at other past blogs when looking to see what their opinions were on film posters that helped with out research and planning into our film.
We made sure when looking at thriller trailers for our research and what to include in our own psychological thriller 'Naughty List'. We also used the upload button to be able to upload our pitch onto blogger, so that the examiners and members of the public could view what we have planned for our psychological thriller trailer.
We used the web search engine 'Google' to search for ideas about what we wanted to have as costumes for our characters. Along with helping us to make the mood board for our USP and Target audience. It also allowed us to get up thriller film posters to give us the idea for our own, when we looked at the film poster for the Christmas film 'Krampus' etc.
We used the online shopping site 'EBay' to be able to find the Santa costume for our main antagonist 'Scarlett Rosewood'. We wanted a Santa costume with a head included, almost like a mascot costume, but of Santa Clause. This is because it creates the dramatic irony as the victims don't know who is inside the costume but the audience do. We also felt like having the head of Santa really makes the whole costume for creepy adding to our thriller genre.

Basic Plan Thriller Trailer ~ Erin Surkitt
NOTES
- set at Christmas time
- songs plays thought out(silent night)
- child hosts a Christmas party but none of his childhood friends show up
- spend years planning his revenge, and invites them over 6 years later.
- this time everyone attends
- she traps them inside her house and starts playing tricks on them
- they have dinner but she drugged all he food
- they soon catch on but they can't leave
- they soon get drowsy and all pass out
- guests are taken to separate places (buried alive, locked in cupboard, tied up)
- multiple shots of them panicking
- location - Suburbs, cities, England. e.g. Gosforth
- 6 characters + psychopath
- psychopath looking out window waiting for guests mid to long shot
- flash backs of childhood mid to long shot
- eyes opening and breath extreme close up
- everyone sitting and eating, psychopath watches them eat from behind mid to long shot
- shots of generic party things ( pouring drinks, cutting food, chatting, phones)
- close up screaming
- banging on doors mid and close up
- heavy breathing and moving and panicking close mid shot
- psychopath touches faces and hair of guests close up to mid shot
- guests sitting down watching TV and chatting and start falling asleep one by one, when the last ones head dropped, suspenseful sound effect plays and cuts to them waking up.
- REMEMBER THAT SHOTS DONT HAVE TO BE IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER.
